Everyone thought Keeva Doyle only loved Bastian Santoro.

But Bastian only wanted Mallory Doyle.

To marry him, Keeva once stood outside the Santoro estate for an entire day and night.

After the wedding, she did anything to stop him from divorcing her.

Even let Mallory use her as a punching bag whenever the mood struck.

It made Keeva the biggest joke in New York society.

On their third anniversary, Mallory had another meltdown.

This time, Keeva was two months pregnant. She ended the pregnancy.

It was the only child she and Bastian had conceived in three years.

After the procedure, still weak, she went straight to the Santoro estate.

“Three years are up. The contract is over.” Keeva looked at Bastian’s mother, Isabella.

“I want to divorce Bastian.”

Isabella closed her eyes. “Getting rid of that baby wasn’t smart, Keeva. That was a life.”

“It was what Bastian wanted.” Keeva’s face was pale, but her voice was steady.

“You know him. Once he decides something, no one changes it. That baby was never going to be born.”

Isabella opened her eyes and studied her for a long moment.

“Since you know he’s that kind of man,” she said, “have you ever thought about why he couldn’t get that divorce for three years?”

Keeva didn’t answer.

Isabella sighed softly.

“I’ll give you another hundred million dollars. Staying three more years?”

Keeva finally lifted her head.

“No,” she said. “This marriage is destroying him. And it’s destroying me.”

More importantly, the first hundred million was already more than enough.

She and her sister could live on it for the rest of their lives.
