Seeing who had arrived, Anastasia’s eyes widened abruptly.
When did Tyron get here?
How long had he been here? And how much had he heard?!
Even more uneasy than her was the companion who had just been listening to Anastasia with great interest.
Now, she was so terrified by the murderous aura radiating from Tyron that her legs trembled uncontrollably.
With just a glance from Tyron, Benjamin immediately understood and walked up to the woman. He swiftly drew his gun from his waist and pressed the muzzle directly against her forehead.
“Ahhh-! Don’t kill me! I didn’t do anything, I don’t know anything!”
A cruel smile curled at the corner of Benjamin’s lips. “You don’t know?”
“Then let me find a place for you to remember properly.”
Before the woman was forcibly taken away by Benjamin, she screamed Anastasia’s name in terror.
But at this moment, Anastasia could barely take care of herself, let alone anyone else.
Anastasia forced a smile onto her face and walked up to Tyron.
“Tyron, what are you doing? You… you scared me!”
Tyron stood motionless where he was.
The woman’s beautiful and innocent face concealed a hint of her viciousness.
The first time he met Anastasia.
She had come alone to the club to look for her brother, but instead ran into a group of thugs.
Tyron was sitting next door, but had no intention of intervening.
He had never been a good man; the only people he cared about were Katniss and Leon.
But now, Katniss had long since become strong and independent enough to support half his world.
Her heart and eyes were no longer just for him, but also for their son, Leon.
Just as he was about to leave, Anastasia smashed a wine bottle over the heads of several men.
Her white dress was stained with red wine.
Terrified like a little rabbit, she crashed into him while trying to escape.
In that instant, Tyron was inexplicably reminded of the Katniss from the past.
He thought of her stepfather who had tried to violate her, of her weakness and helplessness, and the moment she clung to him for support.
Anastasia had successfully awakened his protective instincts.
But from the very beginning, all he saw in Anastasia was Katniss.
Tyron’s hand gently landed on Anastasia’s cheek. She instinctively relaxed and smiled at him, but then-
A loud slap!
Anastasia was stunned by the blow. She fell to the ground from the force, clutching her aching left cheek in disbelief.
“Tyron, you hit me?”
In the past, no matter how many times she acted willfully around Tyron, he would never lay a hand on her.
But before she could finish her sentence, Tyron’s large hand gripped her throat tightly, pinning her against the sofa.
His bloodshot eyes looked as if he wanted to tear the woman before him apart and devour her.
“Anastasia, it was you who told Troy to enforce the gang rules in the cemetery, you who ordered him to whip Katy forty times, the tattoo was fake, and it was also you who got a geomancer to say Leon’s grave was bad for his reincar- nation–that was a lie! Anastasia was almost unable to breathe. She clawed desperately at Tyron’s hand, but still couldn’t pry his large palm from her neck even a little.
Her eyes were full of terror as she looked at the man who had gone mad before her. Anastasia tried to call out Tyron’s name to awaken his reason.
But the sound she forced out with all her strength couldn’t even form a single word.
It wasn’t until her last breath of oxygen was about to run out that Tyron’s hands suddenly released her.
Anastasia gasped for air in a wretched state.
Was he going to kill her?
Tyron really wanted to kill her!
