The Esports Superstar Is Mine Chapter 08
I felt bored to death. I stood up from the pool and walked out, not wanting to stay with him.
Killian clenched his jaw. Finally, he lost control and pulled me back into his arms.
The floor was slippery, and I fell. My nose slammed into his collarbone, sending waves of pain through me, and my voice broke with sobs.
“What are you doing?”
He hadn’t expected to hurt me. Cupping my face, he examined me carefully and growled, “Where does it hurt? Let me see. Don’t move.”
His harsh tone caught me off guard, and all the emotions I’d been holding back burst out. Tears welled up in my eyes as I sniffed and said, “Go away. I don’t want you to look. This doesn’t concern you.”
Killian was fuming. His eyes were rimmed red, and beneath the anger, there was a hint of hurt.
The next second, he bent down and pinned me in place. His hand gripped my waist effortlessly, pulling me in until there was no space left between us.
He peppered me with fervent kisses. I instinctively shrank back, but he wouldn’t let me.
After a long time, he buried his face in my shoulder and grazed his teeth along the edge of my ear.
“Does he even know how to satisfy you? Choose me, not him.”
So arrogant!
I leaned against him, trying to catch my breath. Then he carried me back to the room and carefully dried my hair with a towel.
“I’m sorry about my attitude earlier. I was frustrated and took it out on you. I didn’t mean it. Can you forgive me?
“This is a bit complicated. I didn’t want you to get into trouble. Darion is a spiteful person. If he ever finds out you’ve been snooping around, I’m afraid he’ll come after you. And my mom’s situation is delicate. I’d rather not drag you into my mess.”
I shot him a sidelong glance and snorted coldly. “But you’re not afraid of dragging me into your mess now? Then what was that kiss supposed to mean?”
Those past events had left him scarred, and his mother had fallen ill.
I sympathized with him, but that didn’t stop me from being angry.
Killian pressed shamelessly against me, lifted me onto the table, and braced his hands on either side.
“Well. I just want to be with you.”
I lowered my eyes and remained silent.
Killian knew he’d pissed me off. He didn’t rush to fix it. He just kept his eyes on me patiently.
“Did cat get your tongue? I’m gonna kiss you now.”
Why did he always act like some bully?
I looked up, ready to argue, but his kiss took my breath away.
With my head tipped back, I let him take what he wanted. My hand clutched his arm before I even realized it.
A flush of heat rose through my body, and everything felt so surreal. The air was charged with intimacy, filling every corner of the room.
“Are you going to say yes or not? Because if you don’t, I won’t stop!”
His kiss overwhelmed me, and I nodded without thinking.
