My Fiancé Lived With My Best Friend So I Left Chapter 07
The elevator doors opened. The person standing inside was Bianca.
“Damian, how can you say that about yourself?”
Her eyes were red as she walked over and reached out to support him.
“Valentina is only still angry. Don’t take it seriously.”
I stopped and turned to look at her.
“Bianca.”
She froze when I called her that.
I rarely called her by her full name like this.
In the past, if she cried a little, I would soften.
If she said she hadn’t meant it, I would find excuses for her.
“How much longer are you going to keep acting?”
Bianca’s eyes reddened further.
“Valentina, why are you slandering me?”
“I was only worried about you. You’re injured and still came to the interview. What if something happened?”
I looked at her and suddenly smiled.
“You threw away my luggage, used my pass to pad a food container, and rejected my transfer while I was unconscious.”
“You even told the people in the neighborhood that Damian was your fiance and that I was a friend moving in to live with you.”
“Were all of those things because you were worried about me?”
Bianca’s body stiffened for an instant.
Damian snapped his gaze toward her.
“You said that?”
Bianca quickly suppressed her panic and smiled at him.
“I was afraid the neighbors would misunderstand Valentina as the other woman.”
“I wanted to explain for her. I didn’t expect them to misunderstand what I meant.”
I cut her off.
“You’re always so innocent.”
“You eating with Damian was to help me keep an eye on my fiance. Moving into his estate was only temporary.”
“After ruining my luggage and my pass, you cried and said you didn’t mean it.”
I walked toward her step by step.
My chest hurt badly, but I still finished speaking.
“Bianca, I didn’t stay silent before because I was stupid. It was because I truly treated you as a friend.”
“But what about you?”
“You stole my things while telling me not to overthink. In all these years, have you ever felt the slightest guilt toward me?”
Bianca’s tears finally fell.
“Valentina, I’m sorry, but I didn’t steal your things.”
“You were the one who couldn’t hold on to them.”
Crying, she curved her lips into a smile.
“Your taste in men is terrible. Him saying in his heart that he loves you doesn’t stop him from cheating.”
“Living with me doesn’t stop him from loving you either.”
“He’s just a two-faced bastard with no sense of boundaries.”
“But I chose that bastard too.”
The corridor suddenly fell silent.
Damian’s face darkened.
“Bianca.”
Bianca laughed louder and stepped closer to him.
“Am I wrong? I ate with you, returned to the estate with you, and spent almost seven years by your side.”
“Why is it that the moment she appears, I become nothing?”
Damian’s throat moved. In the end, he only said flatly, “I’m sorry.”
“But move out of my home first.”
Bianca was completely stunned.
“What did you say? Damian, what exactly are you pretending for?”
“When I hurt Valentina before, why didn’t I ever see you say a single word for her?”
“I wasn’t wrong about you. You really are a bastard!”
Thankfully, the office had already cleared out, and there were not many people in the dock office.
Otherwise, after that argument, I might have been dismissed again on the spot.
Not wanting to listen to them fight anymore, I endured the pain and left.
Whether Bianca moved out or whether Damian forgave her had nothing to do with me anymore.
