I Never Loved You Anyway Chapter 10
It was a frantic, hungry kiss, fueled by a year’s worth of pent-up desire. He parted my lips, his tongue sweeping deep inside and leaving me absolutely no room to pull away.
His tail curled tight around my waist. The sheer heat radiating from his body seeped right through my clothes, melting the tension straight out of my muscles.
“You started this, Roxanne,” he panted against my ear, his voice a low, raspy whisper. “I’m not letting you go. Even if Logan kills me for it, I’m holding onto you.”
Thunder rolled outside the window, but I tuned it all out, focusing entirely on the heavy, steady thud of his heartbeat.
Right at the peak of it all, he suddenly clamped his teeth down on my collarbone.
His sharp canines pierced my skin, flooding me with his mental power.
It was a primal, dominant claim — the absolute mark of a werebeast.
The faint pink scar Logan had left behind was instantly wiped out, replaced by Micah’s deep, crimson bite.
The sudden pain made me gasp, but I couldn’t fight my smile.
“Did you really have to bite so hard, wolf?”
He licked a drop of blood from the corner of his mouth. His gaze was dark and smoldering, flashing with a flicker of triumphant cunning.
“Remember, Roxanne. You’re my mate now. Nobody can take you away!”

By the next morning, the storm had passed, leaving a clear sky in its wake. Sunlight filtered in through the gap in the curtains.
I lay resting against Micah’s bare chest, idly playing with his furry ears. They were incredibly sensitive, twitching every time I gave them a gentle squeeze.
He narrowed his eyes in pure contentment, his tail lazily thumping against the sheets at random intervals.
Suddenly, a loud crash shattered the quiet as the front door was shoved open.
“Roxie!”
Logan burst into the bedroom with an anguished shout. He was an absolute wreck — completely soaked and disheveled, looking like he’d been running through the storm all night.
His shoes were caked in mud, and his wet hair was plastered flat against his forehead.
He froze the second he saw us in bed together, completely paralyzed by the shock of it.
Micah immediately yanked the blanket up to cover me. Sitting up bare-chested, he glared at Logan with naked hostility.
Logan’s eyes zeroed in on my exposed collarbone.
Right there, impossible to miss, sat Micah’s angry red mark.
“You two…” Logan’s voice shook violently. His eyes were totally bloodshot, and the hand he pointed at us trembled. “What are you doing?”
I stared back at him calmly. I felt no panic, and I made no attempt to look away.
“Exactly what it looks like,” I said flatly.
Logan practically collapsed to his knees beside the bed, heavy tears spilling down his cheeks and hitting the floor.
“Roxie, I’m so sorry. I know I messed up!” He sobbed openly, abandoning whatever pride he had left. “Genny told me everything. It was you — you were the one who saved me back then. You permanently damaged your own mental power just to pull me out of it. I was so blind to the truth, and I acted like a complete bastard! Please forgive me. We can start over. I swear I’ll treat you so much better from now on…”
He reached out to grab my hand, but Micah slapped his arm away.
“Logan, don’t touch her,” Micah warned, physically shielding me from his brother without giving an inch. He met Logan’s gaze with a dead-cold expression. “She’s my mate now!”
“Shut up!” Logan roared, his eyes blood-red. “I’m your older brother! How could you mark my mate? Do you have zero morals?”
“You left her with me,” Micah yelled back fiercely, refusing to back down. “You begged me to pretend to be you, and you ditched her at home so you could go run around with another woman. You have zero right to stand there and yell at us. You don’t even deserve to be her mate.”
Logan was stunned into silence. All he could do was turn to me, his expression utterly pleading.
“Roxie… you’re just getting back at me, right? You were pissed that I went to see Genny, so you’re doing this to hurt me on purpose. I swear I’ll never see her again. I only love you. Just get rid of his mark, and we can go right back to normal. Okay?”
