Accidentally Dating The Esports Pro Chapter 16
After we officially started dating, Bryson and I moved in together. He got a lot more affectionate, too. Whenever he had a free second, he was right by my side. He said spending time with me was how he recharged.
I looked at myself in the bedroom mirror. There were a few marks on my neck from his kisses the night before. My face grew warm. Was leaving marks on me this silly guy’s way of getting his energy back, too?
Today was Bryson’s birthday, but he still had to practice late with his team. I timed it all out, cooked a nice dinner, and baked a cake from scratch. Once everything was set, I just stared at the revealing dress folded in the corner of my closet, debating whether I should wear it.
Eventually, I decided to just go for it. Swallowing my nerves, I slipped it on.
Bryson didn’t get home until nine o’clock. I rushed to the front door and threw my arms around him. “Welcome home, and happy birthday, honey. I made dinner and lit some candles.”
He shut the door quickly behind him, his gaze slowly traveling down my outfit. He dropped his voice. “Honey, is the dress part of the surprise, too?”
I looked away shyly and gave a quick nod.
Bryson let out a soft laugh, leaning down to shower my face with kisses.
The apartment was quiet. We spent the rest of the night intimately wrapped up in each other.
