10 Days To Escape My Marriage Chapter 11

10 Days To Escape My Marriage Chapter 11

Victoria hadn’t expected it either–none of the three embryos had survived.

She wanted to tell William the moment she got the report, but the thought of undergoing the implantation procedure again terrified her. That needle was so thick. She had no idea how Isabella had endured it…

She agonized over the failure for days, until finally, she gritted her teeth and went to find a male model.

She slept with him repeatedly throughout the night, driven by desperation.

Two days later, she discovered she was actually pregnant!

Her worry instantly turned to joy. She destroyed the initial report, threatened the nurse who performed the test into silence, and used the new pregnancy confirmation to pass off the fraud as the real thing.

A baby was a baby… did it really matter whose seed it was?

After all, she was adopted herself.

Once the emotional bond was formed, even if William noticed the child didn’t look right, he

wouldn’t have the heart to kick them out.

And by then, she would have certainly gotten rid of Isabella and become Mrs. Harrington herself

Victoria had believed her plan was flawless. She never anticipated that Isabella would stumble upon the truth and secretly snap a photo of the paternity test report.

Because the details in the image were blurry, the report didn’t immediately go viral on the public internet.

However, it spread like wildfire through the elite circles of old money, turning the Harrington Group into an absolute laughingstock.

Facing William’s fury, Victoria was so terrified her tears stopped instantly, and she stammered, unable to speak.

It was the assistant who had uncovered the truth during this time and handed the findings to William.

“The report compares your DNA with the embryo’s… it shows no biological relationship.

I pulled the hospital surveillance footage and tracked down the nurse who performed the test.”

“I’m afraid Miss Victoria conceived this child the night she didn’t come home.”

The implication was self–evident.

With both witness testimony and physical evidence presented, Victoria had no way to deny it. Her legs gave out, and she collapsed to the floor.

William looked at her as if seeing her for the first time, his voice filled with disbelief: “I knew you were spoiled… but I never imagined you could be this stupid and vicious!”

“You got pregnant with some bastard child and wanted me to raise it as my own… How dare you!”

He raised his hand and finally let it fall, a heavy slap crashing against Victoria’s face.

Victoria screamed, rolling on the floor until her forehead smashed violently against the coffee table, sending blood splattering.

In pain and terror, she wailed loudly, “But I don’t have Harrington blood either, and you still raised me, didn’t you?!”

William seemed to wake from a dream, murmuring, “You’re right… you’re a bastard too.

In an instant, Victoria went cold all over, utterly despairing.

Just then, a knock sounded at the door.

The assistant returned to report, “Sir, the police are here… should I escort Miss out through the side door?”

If William was willing, he could send Victoria abroad to hide for a while and hire the best lawyers, sparing her a lot of suffering.

But William only sneered, “The Harrington family does not harbor criminals.

Send her out.”

Victoria screamed and thrashed, her face still a bloody, untreated ruin, as the assistant restrained her and shoved her into the police car.

Moments later, the Harrington Group released a public statement that blasted across the internet.

The Harrington family hereby severs all ties with Victoria. We are reclaiming all Harrington Group assets under her name. From this moment on, Victoria has no relation to the Harrington family.]

Victoria had been completely cast out.

William worked until the sky turned dark and heavy once again before finally settling everything.

He took off his glasses and rubbed the aching space between his brows.

“Isabella, my head hurts…”

His voice drifted through the empty study, bringing back a hollow echo.

He froze, only then remembering that Isabella hadn’t come back.

In the past, whenever he worked too long, Isabella would be heartbroken for him, massaging his pressure points to relieve his headache.

When Victoria wasn’t causing trouble, they really were a model couple, deeply in love.

Yet because of that stupid, vicious woman, he had broken Isabella’s heart…

William let out a heavy sigh.

He couldn’t blame Isabella for leaving in anger; he owed her too much.

But he wasn’t particularly worried.

After four years together, he knew better than anyone just how much Isabella loved him.

How could she possibly leave him?

William thought for a moment, then made a few calls to arrange for people to “take good care” of Victoria in the detention center.

“Use every method you have. Make sure she suffers. Film it… I need to make an apology gift for Isabella.”

He spoke indifferently, then paused as he hung up. “Don’t lose the baby. Let her give birth.”

She was the one desperate to have this bastard. Let her deal with the consequences.

Having arranged everything. William left the study and returned to the bedroom to rest

Once again, his gaze landed on the white envelope by the bedside.

He picked it up and opened it. Inside lay a set of legal documents

“A… divorce decree?”

Stunned, William stumbled backward, crashing heavily into the tall cabinet behind him. The impact dislodged a heavy vase from the top shelf, which toppled and smashed directly onto his head.

Shards of porcelain sliced his face, and blood began to trickle down, but he didn’t feel a thing He simply gripped the papers, staring at them in utter disbelief

It was real…

Isabella… had divorced him?

Was Isabella really done with him?

Just then, his assistant rushed in. “Sir, we found her!”

“She flew to America… last night.”
