Wake Up To Him Chapter 01
Every night, I dream of a man, exploring endless wild and adventurous moves with him between the sheets.
But every time I wake up, I can never remember his name.
Half a year later, I finally found him.
The good news is, he’s just as handsome as he was in my dreams.
The bad news is, he’s my boyfriend’s older brother.
*
Owen Parsons wanted to take me home to meet his parents.
When he told me, it was an order, not a discussion.
“Dress up nicely, wear something sexier.”
Me: “It’s winter, There’s no way to dress sexy.”
“You’re not happy about it?
Then let’s break up.”
He didn’t care at all, acting completely nonchalant.
He was dead sure I wouldn’t break up with him.
I stayed silent for a moment: “I don’t have money for new clothes.”
“Figured.”
He transferred fifty thousand to me, then waved his hand impatiently: “Take the money. I’m playing games, leave me alone.”
I held back my feelings, lowered my gaze and walked away.
Mr. Owen got on a voice call with his rowdy friends.
“Yeah, I’m taking her back. I refuse to believe Kiera won’t get jealous this time.”
“I only got with this girl to piss Kiera off. Why else would I look twice at her?”
“My family?
We’re putting on an act, so we’ve got to commit. Kiera and I dated for four years without meeting the parents, but I’m taking this one home after just one month. That’ll definitely get to her.
Don’t worry, my brother runs the family.
As for her—”
Owen played with his phone, letting out a careless sneer.
“She’s exactly the kind of woman my brother hates the most.”
A month ago, Owen suddenly set his sights on me, asking me to be his girlfriend.
Everyone in school knew that Owen had just broken up with his first love.
Coming to me at a time like this meant I was either a rebound or just a plaything.
Either way, there wasn’t an ounce of sincerity in it.
But I agreed anyway.
I really needed the money.
I’d been working nonstop to save for my mom’s surgery.
But her health took a turn for the worse lately, and we couldn’t delay any longer.
Right at that moment, Owen threw me an olive branch.
The Parsons family owned a large listed corporation, currently controlled by his older brother.
—Being around a wealthy heir like Owen, who loved racing supercars, would easily let me earn enough for the operation.
But Owen didn’t know any of this.
He thought I was head over heels for him.
Owen booked first-class tickets.
The second we got on the plane, he slipped on his big headphones and told me not to bother him.
I was happy to have the peace and quiet, and quickly fell asleep.
Suddenly, a strange sensation washed over me.
I was nestled in a man’s embrace, my skin burning hot.
Again?
How many times has this happened this month?
Can’t he ever stop?
He gently stroked my lips, swollen red from his kisses, and asked: “You look beautiful today. Where are you going?”
“To my boyfriend’s house.”
“You have a boyfriend?”
I replied out of spite: “Yeah.”
He stayed silent for a long time.
I raised my eyes, meeting the dark undercurrents swirling in his gaze.
He was strikingly handsome, with sharp, cold features and an amazing physique: toned lean muscles, broad shoulders and a slim waist.
Otherwise, I wouldn’t have sunk so deeply into these dreams.
“Break up with him, okay?”
His voice was clean and deep, carrying a hint of coaxing.
“No.”
“Why?
What am I lacking?”
It was enough, more than enough, but—
“Who would spend their life with a man from a dream?
When I wake up, there’s nothing left.”
I didn’t know if those words stung him, but he didn’t say anything else.
The plane’s landing turbulence jolted me awake, snapping me out of the dream.
Owen looked at me from the side, frowning: “Are you hot?”
I wiped a thin layer of sweat from my forehead: “I’m fine.”
It was that dream again.
About half a year ago, this mysterious man started appearing in my dreams out of nowhere.
