Fake Heiress Real Fall Chapter 03

Fake Heiress Real Fall Chapter 03

The master bedroom on the second floor was the best, largest, and brightest room in the entire house.

Sophia pushed the door open, her face clouded over with fury.

A pink lace bedspread covered the large bed, and a brand-new doll sat at the headboard.

The open wardrobe was filled with vintage swing dresses, vintage polyester shirts, and high-end winter woolen coats, all in Stella’s size.

Lined up on the vanity were exclusive skincare creams and Vaseline tins from the diplomatic commissary, and even two bottles of imported perfume.

Stella hid behind Daniel, clutching her shirt hem, looking wronged.

“Aunt Harris… Uncle Brooks said the doctor told me to get more sun for my heart, which is why he let me move into this room…”

Daniel gave a dry cough from the side.

“Sophia, Evelyn has suffered through all kinds of hardships in the countryside. She just got back, don’t be so fussy.

The guest room under the north stairs is perfectly fine, just tidy it up—”

He didn’t get to finish his sentence.

Jasper marched over to the wardrobe, yanked out all the clothes along with their hangers, and mercilessly threw them all downstairs!

Then, he turned to the vanity and swiped everything off in one fierce motion!

Bottles and jars crashed to the floor, glass shattering into pieces, as the pungent scent of perfume and the sweet, dusty fragrance of face cream filled the air.

“Jasper!

You animal—!”

Daniel roared in heartache.

Jasper stepped on the floor covered in glass shards, his gaze as cold and sharp as a knife.

“This room was personally decorated by my mother when she was pregnant with Evelyn. Does a piece of outside trash like you even deserve to breathe the air in this room?”

He walked to the bed, grabbed the pink lace bedding, rolled it into a ball, and smashed it right into Stella’s face.

“Stella, I’m giving you five minutes. Move your doghouse to the north guest room. If you’re even one second late, and I will personally throw you out the second-floor window!”

Stella stumbled back from the impact of the bedding, biting her lip and glaring fixedly at the shattered glass on the floor, her eyes full of resentment and malice.

But seeing Jasper’s murderous glare, she could only run downstairs crying to pick up her clothes.

Daniel pointed at Jasper and Sophia.

“Fine! You’re both just great! Let’s see how long you can keep up this arrogance!”

With that, he stormed downstairs to coax his precious niece.

Sophia pulled me over to sit on a chair, took out a first-aid kit, and used an alcohol swab to carefully clean the grit and blood crusts from my palms bit by bit.

With every wipe, her hand trembled.

“Evelyn, remember this.”

Sophia stared into my eyes and said, “In this house, you don’t have to yield to anyone. Whoever dares to steal your things, whoever dares to make you suffer, even if Mom has to lay down my military post, I will skin them alive!”

Looking at her red but resolute eyes, a flicker of warmth finally stirred in my long-frozen heart.

I nodded vigorously.

Tomorrow, I would never let myself be wronged and beaten again for no reason.
