Divorced With Kids Now His True Love Chapter 25

Chapter 25: Wishing Mr. Lowe a Happy Second Marriage

Outside the Lowe Group headquarters, a chaotic celebration was in full swing. A crowd of about a hundred middle-aged women in bright red outfits formed a line, grinning as they waved red pom-poms in time with the blaring, festive music.

The massive screen in the lobby flickered to life, displaying two animated stick figures. They were crudely drawn but instantly recognizable as William Lowe and Presley Jensen.

The cartoon William shimmied his hips, bouncing around like a moron while joyfully singing, “I’m a scumbag~”

Presley, waving her own pom-poms, batted her eyelashes and sang along, “I’m a total bitch~”

Then, the two figures bounced toward each other, formed a giant heart with their hands, and belted out their happy anthem together: “We’re a match made in heaven~”

“I’m a scumbag, I’m a bitch, we’re a match made in heaven~ Match made in heaven~ A match made in heaven~~”

As if on cue, confetti cannons exploded around them, and the women in red shook their hips with wild abandon, shouting, “Congratulations to Mr. Lowe and Miss Jensen on tying the knot…”

Their voices were perfectly synchronized, as if they’d rehearsed for weeks.

The crowd of onlookers burst into laughter.

Liam Henderson, who had just pulled up, felt his mouth twitch. He glanced back at the man himself sitting in the back

seat.

The man’s handsome, ice-cold face had turned black as pitch.

A chill ran down Liam’s spine.

Listening to the waves of laughter from outside, William’s eyes grew even colder. “Who did this?”

Liam turned and met William’s murderous gaze. He wanted to cry. “We’re… we’re still looking into it…”

The company’s entire network had been hacked. This animated video was playing on a loop on every single computer in the building. The tech team had been working through the night, but they had come up with nothing.

“Find the person responsible for this prank,” William said, his voice so cold it was sharp. His expression made it clear that “finding them” meant they wouldn’t be walking away.

This was obviously a deliberate attack.

Liam was terrified.

He couldn’t imagine what kind of daredevil would have the guts to tweak the tiger’s tail like this.

They must have a death wish.

“Yes, sir. I’ll get on it right away.”

stop his lips from twitching again.

But as a professional executive assistant, he clamped his mouth shut and forced himself not to laugh.

The spectacle wasn’t just for the live audience; countless people were filming it and posting the videos online.

Tonight’s number one trending topic was:

The comment sections were a tidal wave of ridicule.

Everyone knew William Lowe. He was the kind of man whose influence could shake the entire Imperial City.

And someone actually dared to humiliate him.

Besides all the laughing, everyone was dying to know who this mystery prankster was.

William deployed every resource he had, sparing no expense to hunt down the person responsible. He wouldn’t rest until they were found.

Harper Schmitt was completely oblivious to her son’s latest masterpiece. Worried the boys hadn’t eaten yet, she stopped by a popular restaurant on her way home and picked up a bunch of takeout.

As she walked in, two little figures on the second-floor landing waved frantically. “Mommy, you’re back!”

Harper stopped in her tracks, surprised. She had planned on cleaning up when she got back, but the house was already spotless.

Just then, something gently bumped into the toe of her shoe. She looked down and saw a small robot clutching a rag, diligently wiping the floor. Blocked by her foot, the robot tilted its tiny head up and said in a mechanical voice, “Move it,

move it.”

It was one of Jace’s creations.

Jace hated schoolwork and couldn’t sit still for more than a few minutes, but he had a real genius for this kind of stuff.

Harper glanced around at the army of small robots scattered throughout the house. For a second, she thought they’d

been invaded.

The two boys came downstairs. Jace puffed out his chest and lifted his chin, looking incredibly proud of himself.

“Mommy, we cleaned the whole house. Isn’t it super clean?”

His face might as well have had “Praise me now!” written all over it.

Harper smiled and bent down to kiss his cheek. “You guys are amazing. It’s spotless. But, Jace, when did you get so helpful? You didn’t get into trouble again, did you?”

Chapter 25

She knew her son all too well.

Jace waved his little hand dismissively. “Hey, you’re so smart, Mommy.”

Harper was speechless.

A second later, she put her hands on her hips, her smile vanishing. “Spill. What did you do this time?”

Gavin took the bags from Harper while Jace pulled her over to the sofa. He eagerly handed her a glass of water, then climbed up behind her and started giving her a shoulder massage. “It wasn’t bad, I promise!” he said between little thumps. “You’re gonna be so happy when you find out.”

Harper just prayed she wouldn’t have a heart attack.

Just as Jace was about to elaborate, the doorbell rang.

All three of them froze.

Harper glanced toward the door. They had just moved in, and it was late. Who could possibly be here?

She didn’t move. After about ten seconds, the doorbell rang again.

Harper finally stood up, muttering to herself, “Who could that be at this hour?”

She walked to the door and peered through the peephole. A stranger in a suit stood outside.

Harper didn’t recognize him and was about to ignore it, but the man rang the bell again.

He seemed determined not to leave until she opened the door.

Warily, Harper grabbed a heavy decorative object from a nearby table, gripping it like a weapon as she pulled the door open.

“Are you…”

She didn’t get to finish her sentence. The color drained from her face.

William hadn’t expected to see Harper. His team had pinpointed the hacker’s location and tracked it here. The moment

he’d passed through the main gate, the place had felt familiar. Seeing Harper, he remembered. This was the old Schmitt family house.

The second Harper saw William, her heart seized. Her immediate instinct was to slam the door in his face.

She had no idea why he was here.

But Gavin and Jace were inside…

William shot his hand out, blocking the door. Harper couldn’t close it. The man simply pushed it open and strode inside.

Harper stumbled back a few steps, her heart turning colder than the night air.

Taking in the scene, William’s frigid eyes narrowed. “Harper. What is the meaning of this? You’d better have a good explanation.”
