He Chose His Secret Family So I Destroyed His World Chapter 11
Somewhere in the middle of the chaos, Seraphina finally realized Damon was gone.
She lurched toward the door, one thought hammering in her skull: find him.
But when she wrenched it open, it wasn’t Damon standing there.
It was several police officers, their faces set and grim.
The lead officer’s eyes traveled over the wrecked room, and his voice came out cold and flat.
“We’ve received a report accusing you of unlawful entry, unlawful detention, and assault resulting in the miscarriage of Ms. Sabine Fenwick.”
The color drained from Seraphina’s face.
A second officer stepped up and lifted a clear evidence bag. Inside sat a small Ring security camera, its lens aimed squarely at them.
“Its footage has been logged as Class A evidence,” the officer said. “It captured your forced entry, your coercion, your unlawful restriction of Ms. Fenwick’s freedom, and the events that drove her into the kitchen island.”
The lead officer flipped open his notebook. “Damon Crane is already in custody. Now, Seraphina Crane, Gideon Fenwick, and Odette Langley — the three of you will be coming with us for questioning.”
Seraphina, Gideon, and Odette, still sprawled on the floor, all went rigid.
Only then did it dawn on them.
Sabine had left them no opening, no way to explain a single thing away.
Cold handcuffs clicked shut around each of their wrists.
