A Lowborn Bitch In His World Chapter 01

A Lowborn Bitch In His World Chapter 01

The day I found out I was pregnant, I crashed Adrian Payne’s wedding.

I presented the paternity test result to force him into marrying me.

Adrian only smiled. Then he announced that he would marry me instead of his childhood sweetheart, Hayley Perez, and draped the veil over me himself.

Yet as he leaned close, he called me a bitch, his voice dripping with venom.

So, thanks to the child I was carrying, I successfully married into the powerful Payne family.

But Adrian kept telling everyone that I was just a bitch who had used a child to force him into marriage. Every day, he fooled around in bars.

And on the very day I was about to give birth, he kicked me down the stairs, totally wasted.

“I was just toying with you, yet you used your pregnancy to come between Hay and me.

“You actually think a lowborn bitch like you belongs in this family?”

A tear traced its way from the corner of my eye; my heart shattered.

So, he was just toying with me.

Then why would he search all over Los Angeles for me after I left?

With my belly so big, I couldn’t see the steps and ended up stepping on Hayley’s dress.

Without missing a beat, Adrian kicked me down the stairs.

“Cut your act. If you can’t walk properly, then roll down.”

My belly slammed into the ground. I struggled and fell flat on my back. The pain was so intense I curled into a ball, my pride wiped out in an instant.

“Look at her—sprawled out there like a bloated toad. How hilarious!”

Adrian and Hayley’s childhood friends pointed at me and burst into raucous laughter.

Their phones were aimed at me, the camera flashes never stopping.

“Hurry up and get out. Your pitiful act is doing nothing but making a fool of yourself.”

Seeing me lying motionless on the floor, Adrian kicked me again in the side.

He looked totally impatient.

“Come on, Addy,” one of his friends sneered, his face filled with disdain.

“She went through so much trouble to have your child and marry you. I think you should be a little nicer to her.”

Adrian blew out a smoke ring and said leisurely, “I don’t even want that child.

“Hay and I have used quite a few condoms these past few days. Even those are more precious than the child that bitch is carrying.”

Their uproarious laughter left me utterly humiliated.

I’d explained plenty of times, but Adrian never believed me.

That year, I stormed into the wedding venue with the paternity report result.

Adrian chose me over Hayley.

Their marriage was called off. The Perez family severed all cooperation with the Payne family, causing the Payne Group’s stock price to plummet. Adrian’s father, George Payne, had a stroke on the spot and died.

Adrian’s life unraveled overnight. He was devastated.

He hated me so much that on our wedding night, he had sex with a female escort on our bed.

I knelt on the floor, crying, explaining that I never meant for this to happen.

He had said it himself—he would marry me, no matter what it took.

And his mother, Monica Payne, had promised me that if I got pregnant, she would allow him to marry me instead of Hayley.

Furious, Adrian whipped the woman’s lace underwear across my face.

The wire inside cut half my face.

“Jaelyn, you do everything my mom and I say,” he snapped. “If I told you to die, would you do that?”

He pinned me against the window, eyes bloodshot, and sneered, “Go to hell. If you die, I’ll forgive you.”

For a moment, I thought about just ending it all.

But the movement from within my belly made me grab hold of the window frame at the last second.

I could die, but my child was innocent.

Seeing this, Adrian scoffed.

He looked at me as if I were garbage. “Jaelyn, there is no misunderstanding. Admit it—you’re just a shameless gold‑digger, forcing your way into this family.”

He locked the bedroom door and spent the entire night with the woman.

I couldn’t leave the room. I could only cover my ears tightly and hide in the corner farthest from them.

My heart broke, and the pain faded into numbness.

Amidst the mocking laughter, my water broke.

I couldn’t stop trembling.

Everything was wrong from the very beginning. I should never have married Adrian.

My dry lips parted as I spoke softly, “Adrian, I was wrong. Let’s get a divorce.”

My words passed without so much as a flicker of reaction.

Adrian twirled Hayley’s curly hair between his fingers and said indifferently, “Fine.

“Get rid of that annoying thing in your belly, and I’ll let you go.”

My whole body trembled. I looked at him in disbelief. “Adrian, I’m eight months pregnant. The baby’s almost here.”

“Just get rid of it.”

His tone was calm, his words cruel. “When that thing is gone, you can leave.

“Jaelyn, dreaming of a better life off that worthless piece of flesh? Not a chance.

“Neither you nor the child will get away.”
